Organization Overview: Local New Hampshire Farm that provides grass-fed and organic lamb products.
Project Overview: When Clarke Farm came to us, they didn’t have a website. Although they had built their business by word of mouth, they were finding that it was no longer enough to build and maintain their fabulous line of grass-fed beef and pasture raised lamb. We met with Jack and Linda Clarke and discussed their farm business, family values, short and long term goals. They wanted a website that not only presented their product, but educated existing and potential buyers and demonstrated the quality of their meats. Neither Jack or Linda had any interest in managing online orders or maintaining a complex site integrated with Social Media.
Solution: We setup the site using WordPress and the Avada Theme. These tools allowed us to quickly setup a website that was attractive, easy to manage and technically sound. In order to interact with the audience, we setup a blog for monthly articles and recipes are added to inform existing and potential clients of specials, and reflect the values that hold true for Clarke Farm. We also setup a Mailchimp account that collects email addresses and sends a monthly email that link to the blog post and promotes specials. Due to the nature of their business, the Clarke’s opted to handle inventory and transactions offline, so we simply added a cut sheet to be printed and completed prior to purchase.
